Lincoln Versailles je bio prvi pokusaj Lincolna da proizvedu "manji" automobil u rangu sa Mercedesom. Stigao je kao odgovor na Cadillac Seville.
Proizvodio se samo od 1977-1980. godine i prosao dosta lose jer je uglavnom bio prepakovana Ford Granada.
Ovo je trebao da bude naslednik, ali je ostao samo kao koncept. Posle je Continental prebacen u manju klasu pa je on zapravo dusevni naslednik Versaillesa.

Jos jedno dizejnersko izivljavanje...
Ne kazem da nije "lep". Naprotiv, kako gomlla toga izgleda danas, ovo je vrhunac elegancije.
Sam' su zaboravili da usput pitaju nekog indzilira, dal je to izvodljivo
Pogotovu sa svim danas naturenim bezbednosnim standardima i ostalim pizdarijama smisljenim da zastite idiote od evolucije.

Nedavno sam bio u jednom muzeju u Chicagu i bas se iznenadio kada sam video Lincoln Continental koncept iz 2002. godine.
