Nova sezone pocinje u nedelju, iako je vec vozena jedna ne-takmicarska trka (The Clash - 1-2-3-4 finis za Ford; pobedio Brad Keselowski).
Ocekivanja za ovu sezonu su nikakva. Toyota je i dalje izuzetno mocna, dok je Chevrolet zamenio SS sa Camarom, tako da tesko da ce i njemu Ford moci parirati. Ford i dalje planiran da koristi Fusion, mada je Roger Penske pre neki dan najavio da ce Ford imati novi auto za 2019. sezonu (najverovatnije Mustang).
Vecih promena u Fordovom kampu nije bilo. Najveca promena je ta da je Penske otvorio i 3. tim, a vozac ce biti Ryan Blaney. Blaney je i prosle sezone vozio za Ford, a njegovo mesto u #21 timu ce popuniti Paul Menard. Menard je proveo 2009-2010 sezone u Fordu, a rec je o prosecnom vozacu koji je u NASCAR-u samo zato sto tata ima dubok novcanik i placa sponzorstvo u svakom timu gde Menard vozi.
Promena je dosla i u #10 timu. Danica Patrick se penzionisala, a zamenio je Aric Almirola. Almirola je i prosle sezone vozio za Ford, a taj tim (Richard Petty Motorsport) je presao na Chevrolet.

Ove nedelje Atlanta. Prosle godine je Ford bio odlican pobedio je u sva 3 stejdza.

1-2-3 Ford u kvalifikacijama za Las Vegas. 6 Fordova u prvih 10. Ovo me plasi jer kad je Ford ovoliko dominantan - to obicno znaci da ce NASCAR promeniti pravila da pomogne timovima sa vecim budzetom (Toyota i Chevrolet).

Veliki sok ))) ... Zar nisam rekao da je ovo period kada krecu da rade sve i svasta da bi zaustavili Fordove? Isto se desilo prosle godine kada je Logano pobedio. Ford se posle toga nije video do kraja sezone.

Nisam siguran. Znam da Darrell Waltrip, Bill Elliott i Jimmie Johnson imaju po 4 pobede za redom. Nisam siguran da li je iko pobedio vise.

Saznao sam Tale. U modernoj eri 8 vozaca ima 4 vezane pobede to su: Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt, Harry Gant, Bill Elliott, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon i Jimmie Johnson. Niko nema 5 zaredom.
