Focus ima samo 2.0L i 140 hp, Fusion se moze naruciti i sa 3.5L i 262 hp, a isti motor ima i Taurus. Taurus se moze dobiti i u SHO verziji sa 3.5L EcoBoost (twin-turbo) i 365 hp.

Ja nedavno na netu gledao kolika bi mi bila registracija za moj auto u Srbiji. Za malo se nisam sokirao kad sam video ~190,000 dinara ili skoro $3,000. A mene ovde kosta $75 ili ~5,000 dinara. Pa koliko su gorivo i osiguranje skuplje ...

Zao mi je Evropo, ali mene uskoro neces videti.

Ljudi cudi me da Ford iz tolikih zapremina motora vadi toliko malo konja. U cemu je fora? Cak i Korejanci vade vecu konjazu iz istih zapremina. Ima li neko objasnjenje? ?

Pa dobro to je bilo pre... sad i oni protežiraju sve više turbo motore i više snage iz što manje kubikaže.

Ali generalno ti njihovi motori sa puno kubika i malo konja su veoma jednostavni,dugotrajni i što je kod njih veoma bitno sa dosta NM (obrtnog momenta) pa se veoma lepo voze i na niskim obrtajima.

To je nakad bilo sad imaš EcoBoost porodicu 2.0 (200 ks), 3.5 (265, 365 ks), 500 (411 ks). Valjda bi trebao da bude i 6.8 V8 ili V10 nisam siguran, ali bi se ugrađivao u F-series.

Sto se tice tog "hp po litri", to je mozda nekada bilo da Evropski motori imaju vise konja iz iste zapremine, ali vise nije slucaj.

Recimo Fordov 3.0L razvija 250 hp, Mercedesov 228 hp, BMW-ov 230 hp.
Fordov 3.7L razvija 305 hp, Chevroletov 3.6L razvija 304 hp, a Mercedesov 3.5L 268 hp.
Fordov 5.0L razvija 412 hp, a Mercedesov 5.5L 382 hp.
Fordov 2.5L razvija 175 hp, Chevroletov 2.4L 185 hp, Volkswagenov 2.5L 170 hp.

Ono sto je meni jos impresivnije je koliko hp dobijes po $. Recimo, Ford je jos 1996 godine imao standardnih 200 hp u mid-size sedanu - nesto sto ni Evropljani ni Japanci ni Korejanci nemaju ni dan danas.
Ili recimo novi Mustang 3.7L V6 sa 305 hp svega $23,000. Ili novi Mustang GT 5.0L V8 sa 412 hp svega $30,000.

Izgelda da su samo pokupili tehnologiju volvovog dela za bezbednost zaradili malo i preprodali. Bas kao BMW za 4x4 od landrovera. Sad je naredu mazda sa njihovim odlicnim bezincima, landrover sa odlicnim 4x4, cak mnogo bolji nego sad x serija bmw, aston zbog raklame takodje, a jagurar je odavno odsvirao.....E a cene su u americi dzab dzabe, recimo subaru forester je kod nas 2.0 24000 a cena u americi za 2.5 t 6 boxer je 19 000 dolara nov, jel to stvarno tako ovo su cene preko neta. Pa koliko je fokus 2.0 tamo onda, 1000 dolara je prevoz do bara zar se neisplati.....

Focus 2.0 (sto je jedini motor dostupan na Focusu) je oko $16,000 MSRP (znaci fabricka cena koju uvek mozes spustiti). Dobijes sve na dugme (prozore, vrata, vozacevo sediste), CD player, cesto mozes da dobijes i SYNC i jos gomilu opreme.

E sad, ako zvuci previse dobro da bude istina - to je zato sto jeste.

Americki Focus dizajnerski izgleda drugacije od Evropskog (to jos samo ovu godinu, pocev od sredine sledece godine postojace jedan globalni Focus), ali je prava razlika u kvalitetu materijala enterijera i u suspenziji. Americki Focus jos uvek koristi suspenziju sa Evropskog Focusa Mk. 1.

Unutra enterijer i moze da prodje ali spolja , pa ni . Zar nebi prosao evropski model u americi sta bi mislili o tome.Zar evropski dizajn neprolazi tamo. Mislim jeste mali auto, pa izgleda ovako vece, ali brate, jeste ford, ali je imao mnogo lepsih modela.....Kako mogu mustanga da naprave tako jeftino a dobro. A i mustang nema neku prodju u evropi ali je pravi muski auto.

Evropski Focus Mk. 1 (sa slike) se prodavao u Americi od 1999 do 2007. U pocetku je imao poprilicno problema sa kvalitetom, ali je posle situacija bila bolja.

Medjutim, nikada se nije prodavao ni priblizno dobro kao ovaj novi Americki Focus, iako je izbor bio ogroman (sedan, wagon, hatchback sa 2 i 4 vrata, sportski SVT model, nekoliko motora kao opcije ...).

Jedini Evropski automobili koji prolaze u Americi u luksuzni Nemci, sve ostalo je propast. Volkswagen recimo proda svega 200,000 vozila u Americi godisnje (dok u Evropi prodaju nekoliko miliona), a Astra u Americi je propala posle svega godinu dana. Mondeo je takodje bio velika propast u Americi.

Pa to je ono , 2 totalno razlicita trzista, registracija, cena goriva, cak u srbiji je najskuplji benzin u oklini iznosi oko 1.15 Evra LITAR e a koliko je tamo pa ti vidi zasto tolika razlika....
