thought id show you guys my new project,as its on a few sites now like.
you may remember me on here asking advise about ZT`ing my fiesta mk3 showcar?,well i got anoyed with m.o.t bills and repairing things all weekend so i decided to sell it, buy an 06 fiesta ST and start again.

2006 performace blue face lift-

genuine m-sport wrc seats with TRS harness-







genuine m-sport wrc carbon door cards,carbon look m-sport rears not pictured-





genuine naked carbon JWRC spoiler. (cost a fookin fortune :roll: )
it would be a crime to paint this ....




genuine JWRC carbon look roof scoops (need cutting out as you can see)


genuine JWRC bonnet (going to change the mesh to match the bumpers mesh i would of thought...


morrett wing mirror covers with indicators (the jwrc arches wipe out the side repeaters so i got these.may cover them in carbon look film to match spoiler/scoops?)

clear rear brake light (now i got this as it looked smart on the pic but im not liking it tbh,may tint it black or just smooth over the part where it sits?)

wheels have arrived,had to put the stickers on ourselves....fcukin Ł1600 and you have to D.I.Y hahaha

the air filter is positioned right under the airscoop on the JWRC bonnet
ill try and get some vids up when im next with the car,prolly thursday when it hits the bodyshop.

other items,eg,reg plates,plastic windows all arrived and look awsome

car is now with ian howell (area six/fiesta frenzy) having turbo conversion etc and were looking at minimum 350BHP.
then it will be taken to skill customs for fitting/spraying,
(see background pic on in car pc)
and finally to dmb for full team RS sticker kit

quality is horrible sorry,the camera on my fone is rubbish
basically here just checking that the wheels are wide enough with the hub convertors,and discovering that the waitec coilovers i bought,while look awsome on a standard fiesta ST once it was loward down,
dont go low enough at the back with the massive JWRC arches.
bummer,buying some gaz shocks to replace them

needed to drop the splitter by an inch anyway because of the intercooler so its a good job we went for this style really .

OK,ROLLCAGE TIME.....



















ROLLCAGE DONE (well,2 little triangles to go in the rear cross bar that match the door bar ones)








this is a proper J-WRC cage fitted by mark who did the first 6 m-sport fiesta J-WRC cars and still does alot of the WRC cars today.
its conected to the suspension so the car is rock solid when cornering etc.
ive missed out a diagonal bar from corner of roof to floor behind seats as i thought it looked abit clumsy,and a cross brace accross the roof which was missed out (as the 1st J-WRC cars did because of the position of the roof scoops which is why the next batch of cars had the scoops closer together to alow the big roof cross brace)
i like them spread apart though...
the guy is a wealth of knowledge on J-WRC cars and has been interrogated thoroughly haha.


few little updates,back on all fours now.suspention all conected to the rollcage etc,brakes look really nice behind the wheels.


smoothed out the welds on the door bars so it looks nice and clean/neat when its sprayed white.











the RS thingys in the rear bumper replaced with STT,little practice run here..


finish date,november 5th (hmm,we shall see haha)

Pazi stvarno nisam ni gledao, samo sam kliknuo kada sam vidio da ima novih postova nisam ni gledao na datum.

update time.
dash has been fitted in around the cage nicely,then taken back out and is in my living room now waiting for me to take it to be flocked .
had some good extra ideas about the body which were working on (which is partly why its taking so long as i keep adding new sugestions).
the MAD fez is in the spray booth to get the cage in prima,starting to look more and more awsome...
(ignore the overspray inside,car is being resprayed frozen white anyway)





















its that time again i guess,updates!!!!!
now then,weve been a bit quiet lately as the rear bumper is being totally changed to take the number plate in a way that if we can pull it off should look really nice so im not going to show that.
what i can show (as well as the paint pics) is this idea i had about the front bumper which we have canned,as it didnt look as good in real life as it did in my head .
inspiration obviously from the new focus...








and a very quick mock up (forgive my paintshop skills) of roughly what it could of looked like

anyway,opinions on that? should i have gone ahead and done it?

lost all my bookmarks when my pc decided to blow up so i only updated the threads i could remember,looks like i forgot about this one sorry.
ok,finally got the car lower,some pics of this and then pics of how we did it,then some rear bumper/better dash pics.

theres travel still,the coilovers arnt right down,but im going to come up a little i think just to be safe.
nice stance for shows tho..

Sve je to lepo ali mislim da je malo preterao,sad je napravio dvosed u koji treba dobro da se pomucis da bi se uvukao.Nego nije mi jasno zasto je lepio one nalepnice na bele felne kad ih je kasnije ofarbao u crno.

Možda je imao u prvom planu da budu bjele, pa kasnije se predomislio pa prefabrao u crno.
