Zdravo,

Kolega sa posla je letos uzeo za relativno male pare Jaguar X Type 2.0 dizel iz 2004 za 3500 €. Auto je iz švajcarske i izgleda ko bombona i iznustra i spolja. Kolega kaže da je u njemu sve od MOndea 2.0 tdci pa bi i održavanje trebalo da bude povoljno. Za sada nije imao nikakvih problema. Generalno cene za ovo godiste idu od 3000 do 4000 €. Mislim da je auto podcenjen jer svi misle da je venčanica kad treba da se proda. Preko rođaka iz Beča mogu da kupim ovaj model iz 2003 sa 240000 km za i baš sam se zagrejao, pa me zanima dali Fordov servis (Gagi iz Pinosave) radi Jaguara sa ovim motorom. Koje su cene čestih popravke kvarova (zamena remenice, remont dizne zamena plivajučeg i seta kvačila) ? Ako ima neko ko ima iskustvo sa Jaguarom neka napiše i preporuči neki servis

Sve je to isto kao Mondeo Mk3. Jedini problem može biti nabavka nekih nestandardnih delova, farova, krila, neke elektronike...

Ne znam sta je i kako je, al smem da se kladim ce Gagi reci, ne radimo Jaguare, mi smo servis za forda, sto je i razumljivo, isto ne znam kako se pokazao taj Jaguar, ali znam da mi je brutalno lep!

Ja sam ih zagledao, i kupio bih da ima gepek!

Ma šta se sve tamo popravljalo kog Gagija, ovo je skoro pa Ford.

Skoro sam i ja nesto guglao na tu temu povrsno. O podudarnosti se svasta pise a najbolje je da odes na neke od GB foruma kako se tamo oba modela voze poprillicno. Izmedju ostalog procitao sam i ovo


'' I am not a fan of the X-type as many of you know. Not because of its so called Mondeo origins BUT I just think it was wrong to produce a car to compete with 3 series et al which was retro styled and designed to look like the XJ which was soon to be replaced.

I have driven both models and in various trim levels. I also have a number of friends that work at Jaguar development in senioe positions and were there at the time of the development of the X-type. They say (so this is not my opinion, dont flame me) that Jaguar never wanted to build such a car but were "presented" with the X-type in the Ford board room in Detroit and told that they WOULD build it.

Still, build it they did and whether you think that diluted the Jaguar brand or bought the brand to a new market etc is a matter for debate which I will not enter into here. However, this is how much it IS based on a Mondeo....

The cars share the same chasiis (CDW27)
The engines use the same block but the X-type has heavily modified heads and other engine ancilliaries. Variable Valve Timing is one of the biggest differences.

Other than that the other 80% ish is pure Jaguar X-type so that is where the similarities end. Even though the FWD X is often likened even more to the Mondeo due to its layout it is in fact no more Mondeo than the AWD.

However, Jaguar shot themselves in the foot when promoting the vehicle by thinking that the positive reaction to the MK3 Mondeo would be good publicity to hang on the back of which in the end created half of the "its a Mondeo in drag" accusations.

Maybe if the X was launched before the Mondeo (the X was launched August 2001 and the Mondeo 3 in Oct 2000) then the story would be different.

Funny how people dont talk about the Volvo models based on the Focus as if its a negative. How many people do you hear say that the C70 is a Focus in drag etc?


The problem is that in the compact exec market people want percieved exclusivity and "the best" The only reason MB and BMW have this perception (even though in reality the 3 and C are mass produced) is that they dont platform share and therefore its unique in peoples minds. ''

Bio je jedan X-Type kod Gagija kada sam isao na servis, mislim da su dizne bile u pitanju
